ADXL346 is a small, thin, ultra-low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13bit) measuring up to 16 g. The digital output data format is 16-bit binary and can be via a SPI (3 - or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.
The ADXL346 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration accelerated motion or vibration caused by the use of the high resolution (4mg / LSB) can measure changes in the tilt angle less than 1 degree.
Some sensing feature. Activities such as remote sensing and detecting the presence or absence of inactive acceleration of any motion g axial acceleration value set by the user to compare. Sensing in a single click, double-click in any direction. -fall sensor to detect if the device is falling falling.
Concurrent ADXL356 built-in directional detection capability of four, six position detection and the user can select the notification interrupt controller. These functions can be mapped to two separate interrupt output pin. An integrated, patent-pending memory management system 32 first-in first-out (FIFO) buffer can be used to store data to minimize host cessor activity and lower overall system power consumption. Low power modes enable intelligent motion and power management threshold detection and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power consumption.
